Protein Christmas Cake Pops
Ingredients
- 40g (4 yellow scoops) of protein powder
- Zest of half an orange
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup dates
- 3tbs almond butter
- 150g flaxseed
- 2 tbs raisins/sultanas/cherries
- handful chopped blanched almonds
- cocoa for rolling

Method
- 1. Put all ingredients (except the cocoa) into a bowl and mix well until it comes together in a sticky mixture
- 2. Use your hands to roll the mixture into small lollipop sized balls
- 3. Roll these in cocoa powder to coat them and then lay on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper
- 4. Use wooden sticks or half straws to push inside the middle of the balls to create your cake pops
- 5. Pop in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up & enjoy!
