What is Clearpay?
Clearpay is a payment service that allows customers to make a transaction instantly and then pay for the products in 4 instalments, split in a way that suits you best. Payments will be taken automatically every 2 weeks, interest-free, allowing you to manage your monthly budgeting better.
How do I use Clearpay?
Shop on proteinworld.com and checkout as normal. Once you have entered your contact details and address you will be presented with payment options including Clearpay. Select Clearpay and press 'Complete'. You will then be directed to Clearpay to register and provide payment details (Mastercard or Visa, credit or debit), or to login to your Clearpay account. Simple!
Please note that Clearpay is not available as a payment option for subscription orders.
Can I use CLearpay if I'm an international customer?
Unfortunately Clearpay is only available to customers over 18 years old with a UK address. Customers with an international billing address will be unable to create a Clearpay account.
How does the Clearpay payment schedule work?
You will make your first payment at time of your purchase. The remaining 3 payments will be taken automatically every 2 weeks from your selected payment method.
If you would like to make an additional, unscheduled payment please login to your Clearpay account and select PAY NOW, the amount owed will be adjusted accordingly.
What if I can't pay a Clearpay installment
If you are unable to make a payment you have until 11pm the following day to make your repayment and then you will incur a late fee. Simply log in to your app or online and click PAY NOW next to your "overdue payment". The late fee will be an initial £6 and a further fee of £6 if the payment is not made within 7 days.
Late fees are capped and will never go higher than 25% of the price of the item you purchased.
When will my products be shipped when I use Clearpay?
Products paid for with Clearpay will be shipped within our normal timeframes, from the date that you checkout. Please visit our Delivery page for more information.
How do I return an item I bought with CLearpay?
If you change your mind and your product is unopened you have 28 days from receiving your order to return the item to Protein World for a refund. As soon as the refund is processed you will receive funds into your Clearpay account (normally within 14 days). If you have any instalments outstanding these will be adjusted or cancelled to reflect the items returned.
