Homemade Protein Cookies

Ingredients

 

2 Ripe Bananas

 

⅓ Peanut Butter (Substitute if needed)

 

⅓ Coconut Sugar (Substitute if needed)

 

2 teaspoons Vanilla extract

 

¾ cup Potein World Whey Potein (Milk Chocolate)

 

½ cup rolled oats

 

¼ cup Cocoa Powder

 

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

 

⅓ cup Regular Chocolate Chips (optional)


Method

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat

 

    • Place bananas in a mixing bowl, and mash with a fork. Whisk in the vanilla, coconut sugar, and peanut butter

     

    • In a medium-size bowl whisk together the protein world whey protein, cocoa, baking powder, and oats. If using unsalted peanut butter be sure to also add about ¼ tsp fine sea salt.

     

    • Pour dry ingredients into wet, and stir to combine. The dough will be very thick. Fold in the chocolate chips, if using.

     

    • Scoop up about 3 tablespoons of dough per cookie. Put two scoops of dough in your palm, squeeze them together, and roll into a smooth ball. Use your palms to gently flatten each cookie into a thick patty shape. Place on the baking sheet. Use a fork to create a criss-cross pattern on top of the cookies, further flattening them into a cookie shape.

     

    • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the bottoms are golden. Let cool on the pan for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Allow cookies to cool completely before storing.

Chocolate Protein Truffles

Ingredients

 

½ cup Protein World Whey Protein (Milk Chocolate)

 

cup Nut Butter of choice or allergy friendly substitute

 

3oz chocoolate chips (Melt with 4tsp of oil for a smoother sauce)

 


Method

 

Gently warm the nut butter until it's easily stir-able

 

Use either a fork or a food processor to stir in the protein powder and form a dough

 

If it's too wet add more powder, if too dry add more nut butter or a little oil

 

Roll the dough into balls or shapes, dip in melted chocolate and place on a tray lined with wax paper. Either refrigirate or freeze to set the chocolate

Warming chocolate porridge

Ingredients

 

5 scoops Protein World Slender Porridge Double-Chocolate

 

4tsp Cocao Powder (optional)

 

1tsp Vanilla extract

 

4 Bananas, 2 chopped

 

Milk or water


Method

 

Put the Porridge, cocoa and vanilla in a bowl and heat for 45 secs in the microwave then stir

 

Put the chopped bananas in the porridge

 

Heat again for 15-45 seconds and stir again

 

Slice the other bananas and use as a topping

 

Serve and enjoy!
